Yes I think he was a very determined boy because he was always brainstorming new ideas like the perfect frog cage, to cut the path for the sub, to dissabobay Earlene to go to the pond.
when Owen's friends Travis and Stumpy left, Owen kept working.When Owen couldn't find the intructions, he kept trying to make the sub work.I think that Owen is someone doesn't give up when things get hard,he keeps working until what was hard before isn't hard anymore.

Well owen wanted Tooley to be happy. Owen has been tring to catch tooley forever. And he was very exsited to have him in his hands. He wanted to make the best cage ever. Because owen believed that tooley deserved having a good cage.
