Wildfire Run
It is interesting to me that Luke's life as the president's son was so different from the other kid's. He had all of those adults taking care of him, yet he didn't have the opportunity to do things with friends. What was most surprising to you in this story? Would you want to be the president's child? Give some examples from the book to support your answer.

What was most surprising to me was that he was able to figure out how to get away from Camp David and the fire without any major injuries and without anyone like the Secret Service able to help him.
ReplyDeleteI would not want to be the president's child. I would never have any privacy, and, like you said, I would never have the opportunity to hang out with friends. I am happy with the life I have!
The most surprising thing in the story to me was how brave Theo was for to a person who to me is a Know-It-All. I think that being the president's son would STINK because I would have little privacy. I would hate to almost never see my mom or dad. So if you would ask me to be the president's son I'd say... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis book was a great book for action.If you read this you would want to just keep on reading.When I read this I thought it wasn't very good but thats the first page.I kept reeding and found it very interesting when I turned the page and read on.I recamend this book because it has alot of action and alot of some escaping from Camp David!
ReplyDeletethe most surprising thing in the story to me is how theo was really brave. but i think he theo thinks he knows it all. but one thing i do not like about this book because i am not a really big person about fires because they kind of scare me a little bit but i love this book really good.
ReplyDeletethe thing that was most surprising is that he didn`t have a lot of privacy so he really couldn`t be in a good relationship with his friends.I would hate to be the presidents son because my parents will be gone a lot i will be thought of a snotty little princess and also be cause i couldn`t have privacy and i want to live the way i am!!!!!!
ReplyDeletewell the thing that i thuoght was most intersting to is that he had no privacy so if i didnt have any privacy i would freek cause i always want to meet new people in the world and he realy didnt get to meet new people and no i do not want to be the presidants daughter/son because and people would think that i am a very snotty little brat and no one would want to be my friend so my best friend woul become my worst enemy
ReplyDeletei also thought that it was surprising that he had no privacy, people need privacy, I see how being the presidents son may change the amount of privacy you have, but he should have had more of it.I would not want to be the presidents daughter, because I wouldn't beable to have very many friends, any privacy, and people would think I am very spoiled.
ReplyDeletei would not want to be the presidents child because that would make my dad president and thats not really like him at all.the thing that suprised me is how much luke adapted to being sensitive and not taking the slightest wound with just an ow. the horse incident described by callie proves this. but this side of luke only lasts the first few chapters
ReplyDeleteI would want to be the preisdents daughter in a way but in a way i wouldnt want to his daughter. if i was the preidents daughter they would expect you to be just like him. I wouldnt be able to hang with all my friends then. i thought it was shocking that callie laughed when he got kicked by a horse
ReplyDeleteI would want to. The agents seem very nice, I would ask if i could have friends come over. People the theo. I would love the protection, I am a little bit of a safety freak. And not meaning to be greedy, But if i wanted a drink i could have a drink, If i wanted food i could have food.
ReplyDeleteIt suprised me that Luke had so much freedom. I think it would be cool at first to be the president's kid, but sometimes I just like to blend in with the crowd.
ReplyDeleteNO NOT EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD that i would be the presidents daughter. i wouldnt get to go anywhere do anything or have a life! i thought it was shocking that luke got to stay at camp david with a wildfire on the way. it just wasnt the thing that could be true.
