I do agree that she was a very independent girl at the beginning. She had to do everything by herself. After she left to her Gram's, she made new friends with Bridget, and was able to have time with her Gram. It made her nonindependent, because she was starting to spend time with people again.
I think Aubrey was a a very independent girl. I think she was an independent girl because she had took take care of her self because she had to survive on herself. I like how she took baby steps to her life instead of doing the rong things. she did do the right thing.
I think so. She was independent because he had live by herself for a while, She also went to the store by herself And bought a fish by herself without any parents help. She was sad but she was not freaked out about her mom leaving. She was calm, Took it slow, And just relaxed.
I do agree she was very independent, she took care of herself for a long time, she fed herself and went to the store when she needed more food and drinks, but I do think she should have told someone after a couple of days that her mom was gone.
I agree that aubrey was independent because she went to the store to buy things that she needed, although she should have told someone that her mom was gone.
I very much so agree that she was independent because once she found out her mom was back she would not stop until she got to see her. Everyday she checked the door to see if her car was there. Also she fed herself and she also bought stuff she needed.she knew how to live on her own and she was proud.
I agree that aubry was very independent, because she went to the store to get te things she needed all by her self, and she took care of her self for a very long time, and she never told any one that her mom was gone.
if i had to go through what she did,I may not be mentally sane. she she used what she had and about 60 dollars to take care of herself (I can infer it was abou $60). she then had to leave her home behind.Another sign of independancewas the chores thrown at her. This book almost made me cry.
love aubrey . such an interesting title u would thin something else but its a sad story about a young girl . who lives with her pet fish ,sammy .but its not her falt after a tragic accident which killed her father and little sister savana then her mother walked out on her and later her grand mother come s for a visit and finds aubrey all aloneso she gose and lives with her grand mother and her mother slowly comes back
I do agree that Aubrey is independent. She is independent because Aubrey she didnt tell anyone about her mom.But when her grandma comes to visit Aubrey and her mother it ruins Aubreys plans. Her grandma calls everyone she knew right when she heard about the news but no one new where Aubreys mom went.

ReplyDeleteMaybe if Aubrey had told someone sooner, she wouldn't have missed her mom so much throughout the rest of the book.
