The Familiars

Aldwyn really showed special powers right from the beginning of the story.  He was able to trick people and animals in many ways.  Do you agree?  Give some examples from the story to support your answer.
I wonder how the plot will progress in the next book of the series.

  2. Yes I do agree with the comment, because he was able to get away with his lies until the cat from his suspected homeland. He was able to for the most part blend in to the other familars.

  3. I don't know if they would be "powers", but yes, he showed some amazing abilities he was able to use when he needed them. For example, when Grimslade was chasing him at the beginning of the story, Aldwyn jumped into the blacksmith's shop right on time, so that when the blacksmith struck the anvil, he knocked the trap off Aldwyn's tail instead. He was also able to tell convincing lis, but I don't think that is a good ability to have!

  7. I think he got away with it. But i did think that they where going to find out that he was not a familliar. But i also agree with the quote. He did trick people but he did not really have the speial powers. And i did think that the other familiers would find out. If the asked for him to do something. And in the second book i think the are going to find out his secret

  8. I also agree that he was a smart cat, because cats don't usually have powers.he did many smart things throughout the story, such as, tricking the shadow figure, he shined the mirror and the shadow figure vanished, but I don't know if I would like to have the powers he had!

  12. I don't think he really used his special powers from the begining but his mind was very focused and calm which was probubly because of his powers.

  13. I think he does. He could trick people but did not discover his talent yet. you might no call them powers but, when grimsdale was chasng him he jumped into the blacksmiths shop he got out of the trap before it was able to hit him.
